November 2004 - Kent Tourism

Kent Tourism is the web site of the Kent Tourist Board.

The site features a wealth of information about visiting and staying in Kent, the Garden of England. This includes the activities on offer, the sights to see, a guide to restaurants and hotels, and a monthly guide to the various events that will be happening in any given month.

There are some great design features used in the site, such as the landing page (the initial page you get to when you go to the site), which changes nearly every time you go to the site, and the overall colour-scheme of the site, which changes on a month-by-month basis.

This is an incredibly well designed and useful site for anyone wishing to visit Kent, for any length of time. The menus are easy to use, and for each major section, there is usually at least one sub-menu that appears, making it easy to get to the information you're after - a real lesson in usability for many web design agencies out there.
